Education: M.A. (Gujarati Literature) D.K.V. Arts and Science College, Jamnagar
Occupation: In 1987, he took voluntary retirement from government service for 20 years and moved to Bengaluru; there he worked as Managing Director in his company ‘Insight Technology Private Ltd.’ from 1990 to 2016. In 2017, he moved from Bengaluru—first to Surat and then to Rajkot. He is busy with reading and writing.
Literary creation: First short story 'Savita' published in December 1966. Original
Stories and translations of stories by famous Hindi language writers into Gujarati have been published in various magazines as well as weekly supplements and special issues of newspapers. His notable radio drama adaptations of Suresh Joshi's story 'Vidula' and Anton Chekhov's story 'Ward No. 6' as well as original radio plays and stories have been broadcast on Akashvani; scripts of other languages of radio plays broadcast under the national program have been translated into Gujarati.
